Consider asking for a room overlooking the pub's garden for a quieter experience, away from the bar noise.

Great stay for a wedding!
We were really surprised by how nice everything was. The staff was super friendly, and our room was comfy with a nice layout—loved the shabby chic vibe! The pub downstairs added a lively atmosphere and the breakfast was well worth it, but the shower could’ve been a bit cleaner.

the staff were super friendly and accommodating, we checked in early and that really helped us get ready for the wedding. the breakfast was good and filling. They recomended a great taxi firm for us. the ambiance was really nice, felt welcoming and homey.
the room was a bit dated and could use some upgrades, also parking was kinda limited so plan ahead.

The breakfast was absolutely top-notch, definitely one of the highlights! Plus, the atmosphere in the pub was warm and inviting, perfect for unwinding after a long day. Don’t miss the nearby Blue Ginger Indian restaurant for a chill evening meal!
The room could really do with a refresh and the shower had a bit of a black mould issue. the lack of parking was a right bother, especially if you're driving in from afar.

Solo traveler great for a quick getaway
The staff were really friendly and cute from the moment I walked in- it felt like they weren't just doing their job but genuinely cared about making my stay good. The food was really good, had the 'cheesy chicken' for dinner and it was out of this world- just what I needed after a long day.
It wasn't exactly cheap but it was acceptable for what I got.

We had such a cozy night in our Economy Double Room, and the food at the pub was a pleasant surprise, especially the hearty burgers and crispy calamari. The lovely garden area was perfect for sipping on drinks while enjoying the fresh air, and there was even a charming little spot with benches to relax. Only downside was a bit of noise from the pub, but it didn't ruin our stay. Definitely try the food here! 🍔

We really enjoyed our stay here. The family room, although a bit dated, had enough space for all of us, and the breakfast every morning was delicious. We also found the location convenient for a day out at the nearby Basingstoke Golf Club, which was a hit with our kids.
In my wife’s opinion, the cleanliness could be improved for families with children.

Cozy stay with a fab pie!
Had a nice little stay here while visiting the distillery nearby. The staff were super friendly and helped us out with local bus info, which was a lifesaver! The pie for dinner was honestly one of the best dishes I've had. Just a shame the bed felt a bit worn out, made for a rough night's sleep.
